Official Publications
Official publications are defined as publications produced by legislature, executive agency of state, court or judicial organ, any organization which was set up by these official bodies or inter-state, intergovernmental organizations. Official publications are recognised as important souces of primary source data for many social science and arts and humanities disciplines. Durham University Library has collected official publications of Middle Eastern countries since 1970 and holds all key official publications from these countries published since 1960's. These include statistical yearsbooks, legislative proceedings, central bank publications, government policy documents and statements.
